Roles and Responsibilites

  • Part of the Direction Team, Acting as the liaison between the Electronics Team and Direction Team.
  • Responsible for keeping the project in line with the vision throughout production.
  • Created the initial prototype of a Safe Box using Light sensors used in Escape Room.
  • Brainstormed with the electronics team on ways to implement puzzles

Personal Experience

  • My main challenge throughout this project was to get the Electronics team working even with uncertainty on puzzles or the overall flow of the Escape Room.
  • This was mainly due to puzzles being a creative process that goes through multiple iterations, that led to the electronics team being hesitant to work on building prototypes of electronic requirements for puzzles or other parts of the room. Thus, we started off slow and piled up work in the final week of production
  • I learnt about how people work and communicate differently and on how to approach them and the ways to motivate them to get working
